1st Greek Mirage 2000-5                       

New production two-seat hellenic Air Force (HAF) Dassault Mirage 2000-5BG 506 is pictures shortly after arriving at Tanagra Air Base on mai 1, at the end of it's delivery flight from the factory at Bordeaux, France, flown by French Aircrew. The HAF has ordered five Mirage-5 BG's and ten single-seat Mirage 2000-5EG's but until now only one of the two-seat aircraft had been delivered. With a dispute over their equipment fit resolved 506 was one of the first two finally delivered. They will be flown by 331 Mira at Tanagra and the unit's older Mirage 2000's will transfer to 332 Mira, also based at tanagra, and be dedicated to the Interception and anti-shipping role.
